Please note that the Vanishing Battalion 200 has been cancelled by the Organiser, and will not be held in 2015. There are plenty of 200’s available so hopefully it will not be a major problem for anyone. You can all head off to the Priests Leap and Devils Elbow 300 instead !

4 Provinces
Introducing the 4 Provinces Award…..
Following recent discussion the committee has agreed to start an Annual 4 Provinces Award for all riders who complete an event in each Province in the Calendar Year. The Start location determines which Province an event counts for. Only Calendar events can be included, no Permanent rides allowed !
This is to encourage riders to travel to events further from home, and experience what the rest of the country has to offer. There was some debate as to the criteria, but it was felt that it would be best to keep it to one event per Province for this year. If this is felt not to be enough of a challenge we may review it for next year.
Eamon Nealon has kindly drafted up the Medal design, we’ll see how it translates into the metal soon….
Kings Mountain, again…
The route is the same as last year. Sign-on available from 06.30 in Whitehall Church car park, junction of Collins Ave/Swords Rd (CAUTION ! Height restriction at entrance) , 60+ starters expected, staggered start in groups of 10 or so. Please help by having exact amount for one day licence (2.00 euro), and leave 5.00 euro for medal (if you want one) when you return your brevet card, (remember to tick box on back) and have 2 front & 2 rear lights (Rear not flashing when cycling in a group) as previously advised.
