Traditionally the 2nd section/day of the Coast to Coast 600, in 2024 the Stephen Sweeney Memorial 120 is being run as a stand-alone event. The event is dedicated to the memory of Stephen Sweeney, who passed away suddenly while participating in the Coast-to-Coast 600 in 2019. Stephen was a strong cyclist, who always had a cheerful word of encouragement for everyone as he flew past, and he is sadly missed, and always remembered by his family, friends, and fellow cyclists from Navan Road Club, and Audax Ireland.
