Membership of Audax Ireland is open to all cyclists for an annual subscription of €10 (€11 by PayPal, please select Goods and Services), which runs for each calendar year.

There is no requirement for entrants in Audax events to be members of Audax Ireland. You can be a member of any Club, or none. However many entrants do like to join the Club, often in addition to their local Club, that they may do their regular training/racing with.

To join the Club, please complete the Membership Form and e-mail it to or alternatively send it by post to the Club Secretary: Niall Diamond, 17 Sandyford Road, Dundrum, Dublin D16 H2A2.

Payment by PayPal is preferable if possible, to or you can send cheques/Postal Orders by post to the above address, payable to Audax Ireland.

If you pay by PayPal, please be sure to include your Name and what you’re paying for in the payment details.

As we are affiliated to Cycling Ireland, all members must also take out a Cycling Ireland Licence – this is necessary to take part in our events in any case, for insurance reasons. This can be an Annual Licence of any grade from Leisure up, or can also be a 1-event Licence which costs €20, which would need to be paid at each event. This will be charged automatically on Eventmaster when you make your entry, unless you have entered a valid current Annual Licence Number.

It is preferable for event organisers if participants have a full CI Licence, as the 1-event system adds a lot of extra admin work.

Affiliating your Annual Cycling Ireland Licence with Audax Ireland as your “official” Club.

It is also possible to pay your Club Membership through the Cycling Ireland website at the same time as you apply for your CI Annual Licence.  If you do this, Cycling Ireland will forward the Club Membership Fee to our Bank account. This is not possible for riders whose “main” Club may be a different one, as you can only “affiliate” with one club.
