Following a particularly successful season for audax in Ireland, late in 2010 a group of keen randonneurs decided to (re-)establish Audax Ireland as a formal organisation. As of December 2010, Audax Ireland affiliated to Cycling Ireland and  began accepting members.  We are the only cycling club in the country dedicated to long distance cycling and our goal is to develop and expand the sport within the island of Ireland. We work closely with other clubs who are interested in promoting audax events and we provide a full calendar of events including two super randonneur series (required for qualification for Paris-Brest-Paris and many other international events.)
