Entry Fee: €5 by PayPal to paypal@audaxireland.org and Cycling Ireland Licence required, no One-days allowed.

The Great Lake Spin is a permanent / non-calendar event that is an excuse for randonneurs living in the Bridgetown / Sixmilebridge areas to get their monthly permanent spins done, in a reasonable time, without upsetting their wives and collect a nice RRTY medal in the process.

As it is a permanent, start point can be anywhere along the route but I have shown Bridgetown as the start point on the GPS map.

There is only 1407m of climbing on this route – so will it be a day for the breakaway or maybe the peloton will time it perfectly for a bunch sprint?

Plenty options for food on the route:

Killaloe, Ardnacrusha, Annacotty, Birdhill, Portumna, Scariff, Tuamgraney and Sixmilebridge

Proof of passage can be a Strava Link, RWGPS Link or any GPS file.

If GPS is unavailable, “bikies” taken at Birdhill, Portumna, Tuamgraney and Sixmilebridge will be accepted.

Please complete the Permanent Entry Form and send it to the above e-mail address in advance of your ride.

The usual proof of passage is required, Photo or Receipt at Controls, or GPS Track.
