- This is a self-supported event so plan accordingly.
Important: For the safety of all riders a lights check will be completed before your event card is provided to each rider. You will not be permitted to take part if your bike does not have a good set of lights. Carrying a backup set of lights is recommended as this event will take place on dark county roads.
Route Description:
The Gheimhridh 200 starts in Stamullen, Co. Dublin and takes in some of the most scenic parts of Westmeath and Meath, before looping around Lough Derravaragh, north of Mullingar between Castlepollard, Crookedwood and Multyfarnham. The route passes through villages & Towns on the way back to Stamullen that are well stocked with food stops and shops. The route has some climbing in parts but nothing too taxing. Given the time of year the weather could be the challenging part of this event so you should be prepared for changes in the weather by bringing spare clothes, tools, and bike spares.

Pat, thanks for getting back to me. That cool. I realised that Audux is a bit more self reliant. I am a complete novice and have only been cylcling for 6 months but I am finding distances of 50-75 miles, even with 3 and 4,000 ft of elevation, to be quite easy and manageable and I want to give Audux events a go.
I am from the North and I am having bother getting any of my cycling friends to join in. So I will leave it until the new year and make the effort to join in the first Audux event of 2016.

Hi Dave, thanks for reply, (sry only seeing it now) I e-mailed Marc a number of weeks ago but never got a response, shame I was hoping to do this
