The Virginia 300 returns…more details to follow, as I need to rejig the routes out of and into Dublin, but essentially a straightforward early-season 300 that takes you north from Dublin up into Cavan. No mountains, but Cavan isn’t exactly flat either. Good preparation for those thinking about doing the Flèche.
UPDATE: Ok, apparently Cavan is pretty flat after all, here’s the map of the revised route.
I will not have the opportunity to routecheck the entire thing beforehand so there may be a few (ahem) anomalies in the routesheet in the middle sections but nothing that confident, experienced randonneurs like your good selves won’t be able to negotiate.
